What is SCORM?
SCORM (it stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is the industry standard for transferring learner status and completion information back and forth between e-learning content and learning management systems.
Basically, if the e-learning materials you buy or develop are SCORM-compliant and the learning management system you use is also SCORM-compliant, then you'll be able to track and report on your learners' progress and status from within the learning management system.
SCORM ensures that any compliant e-learning material and any compliant learning management system can talk to each other.
